you? It's a marketing trick known as Drip Pricing. A deceptive trick design to lure consumers in to
thinking they are paying one price only to charge a higher price after they enter in their information.
Here's how it works, Take this Lorde concert ticket for example.
Initially TicketMaster set a low price of $1000 vs $1034 on MegaSeats a No Fees Site.
But once you input your payment method TicketMaster adds more than 18.4% to the price you see in the
form of Service Fees and Transfer Fees.
At checkout Megaseats, A No Fees sites is clearly cheaper , along with our 20% app discount until Jan 31,
They do this because it allows them to trick customers into paying more for the same tickets
This "Drip Pricing" trick is sadly widespread in the ticket resale industry. WE HATE THIS.
